花了一周多的时间看完这一本，和上一本在火车上的案件一样，都是节奏快的破案小说。 主人公Hal从对火车和旅程的不屑一顾，到这一次的满心期待，内心发生了很大的变化。这一次，在上车之前，他已经有不祥的预感（好像金田一啊哈哈）而列车上果然有事情发生了，还是性质恶劣的绑架。

与车上认识的Mason和Hadley两兄妹一起，他们发现了很多的线索。同时也有好几位嫌疑人。通过不断的探查，最后得出了惊人的结论——绑架案的主谋竟然是被绑架的小孩子自己！事情的发展，又有了恶化的迹象。

阅读这本外版的童书，速度好像比上一本要快。可能是人物背景熟悉了。这个在火车上的案件系列，猫头鹰书店的共读目前只开了前两本，后面的我会看吗？不确定，哈哈。

#20240408打卡 预计阅读：p210-230 实际阅读：p210-完成 难忘的表述： 1. Friendship is the traveler's gift, but farewell are a traveler's curse.（p206） 感想：看完了，这一本的阅读速度好像比第一本稍微快一点。对于任性的玛丽安还是喜欢不起来，新伙伴中好喜欢Hadley～ 看了书最后第三部的预告，然后发现Hal参与的案件越来越危险哈哈，第一次是偷盗，第二次是绑架，第三次是谋杀了这个系列还挺有趣的！
